How can I make my manager to like me (more)?

This episode is for people who manage people but are also managed by people. From my discussions with managers and leaders, I concluded that one of their top 3 challenges is how to make their boss like them more.

In actual fact, this is such an important topic that we are on our way to creating a course about it. I am going to turn this question around and say what Steve Jobs has said: “If you want to be liked by everyone, sell ice cream”…

The goal here should not be to be liked by your manager but rather to create trust and respect with your manager so that she or he supports you during normal or challenging times.
